As I waited for the sleeping pill to kick in, I can’t help but realize all the stupid decisions that I’ve made and most likely will make in the future.
three years I have loved you. two years I have cried each night. two years of being completely insecure because I can’t be the one to make you happy. insecure that I’m not good enough to be the one truly by your side. I am frustrated. The days and nights we would talk/text… seeing you, hugging you, just the memories of you. You want all of those to fade away. As if it’s only written with chalk in my mind; easily erased. Well it’s not… they’re definitely engraved. And if you found it easy to let go.. don’t assume that it’ll be a cake for me as well. It’s not easy to forget the memories of someone when you truly love(d) them. I guess that’s the most sincere proof that I do love you. But you chose, and I can’t do anything anymore. It’s clear how different you are from the person I fell in love with. I’m probably the last person you think of.. well most likely I don’t come across your mind anymore.
I miss the times you cared for me.. the times you’d try to cheer me up. But now, you don’t even bother anymore and it’s breaking me into tiny bits of pieces.
the most crucial part is I still wish you’d turn back around… I know it won’t happen but maybe I can get one miracle from God. :/
